... Cos (for my case lah) Weijin finally 开工 on CNY's eve (18th Feb).
But performance only starts at 11pm, and drag all the way to 12+, which means 羊年来临咯!!!
I think it's CNY's eve, there's a lot of people at the temple waiting to have their first joss sticks put? Not sure about all these religious/ traditional stuffs, but the crowd @ the temple is scary, to the extent while performing.... the rest of us act as human blocks, to prevent people cramping too near to the lions and the green.
Even i was squash really really really badly right after the performance is done. OMG.
After the performance were done, headed back home and knock out before another day of battle awaits.
羊年初 1 - 19th February
Limited strength on the first day of CNY, which i think was really normal for all the troupes in Singapore? It's like everybody still need to go for their house visiting and stuffs.
Probably the strength will only increase like in the afternoon? Cos by then, visiting are almost done, and in my most vague memories, when i'm young, when visiting are done, we just stayed at my grandparents' house and looking at the adults playing with mahjong/ cards etc...
Not much photos taken this year as compared to last year, cos like it say previously... strength are limited, if i'm able to take cymbals, i will literally "snatch". LOL
Just the first day, i'm already pissed with that one person. 爽爽就拿人家，用完了就把人家丢到一边去. REALLY DIU LEI LOU MOU. FUCK NI.
羊年初 2 - 20th February
Good day BECAUSE MY NYP KAKI ARE W ME!!!!!
First stop was at Coach's Uncle's place. JIN DUA ZHONG WORZ
After which, was split to Serangoon Country Club for preparations of performance first while my NYP kaki was left at the first stop to finish the rest of the performances.
Infusion of 节令鼓 和 击鼓 like a not bad worzzzz. Audiences like it!!!? Hahaaha.
羊年初 3 - 21st February
Can't remember a single shit that happen on that day, but again... i have my NYP kaki together with me. So it's definitely a good day.
This was the last stop @ Botanic Gardens.
羊年初 5 - 23rd February
A lot of people got activated back for this day, cos it was 开工日 for most of the people, And not all of them able to take leaves. SO I BLOODY SKIP SCHOOL FOR THIS, and i will make sure it's worth it. LOL jokinggggg
We're splited up to 2 groups, first group gotta reach Defu Lane at 530AM and the second on at 7am.
Was split to the first group, and 530am is REALLY A HUGE DAMN TORTURE. Received wake up calls from Ah Seng, and he told me to call Ah Bao straight away for him to fetch me.
Just seconds after hanging up with Ah Seng, Ah Bao called and mentioned that he will go fetch Zhiwei and Gy first and come over to fetch me at Hougang 1.
Thank god those who got into the 530am group, was fetched by people. IF NOT, WANT ME TO CAB MEH. ALRDY LACK OF SLEEP, WHERE GOT THE STRENGTH TO LOOK FOR CAB.
Sometimes i wonder why people hire lion dance, and expect us to start at 7am straight, making us reaching Defu Lane by 530am. DIU AH DIU.
After which, met up with the 7am team at Hyundai Showroom.
Spent quite a long time over there, cos gotta sweep the entire office. and go to Harley Davidson office as well, like all along the road, gotta sweep literally everything!!!
Got split up again to small group to sweep Chrysler before coming back to Hyundai Showroom and meet up with them again.
Another big performance @ KSL, which is the annually biggie 采酒青， which i really hate it, COS IT'S A HUGE MESS DONE. Like omgggggg, damn gross with all the alcohols leftover on the ground, and making you feel like YOU STEPPED ON VOMIT. OMG
Ji dua zhong yi xia ymy. LOL
Here come the 采酒青 performance, and i bet the guys are having fun. Like free-flow alcohol, yeah? Who doesn't love it??! LIKE BLOODY FREE FLOW.
I can't rmbr after this performance was what, my album doesn't have any more photos on it.
So that's about it for 初 1 to 初 5, will blog again for the Part 2.
