Been nearly A MONTH since i last touch this space, didn't expect myself to go MIA for thisssssssssss long.
Before i go ahead with coach's office opening, shall just update a wee bit on other sidetracked stuffs.
29th May (Thursday) -
Got back my last semester's results via SIMconnect, and was pretty shock that i managed to cleared Ethics and Governance, because tbh.... i was expecting to flunk both Ethics and Governance and Sales Strategy mods. BUT STILL, im not happy that i need to retake my Sales Strategy module, it's really tedious....... :/
Before checking for my results, many had advise not to check my results before the ANOTHER TEST OF MINE - TADAH!! DRIVING PRACTICAL TEST (been 6 months since i last went to BBDC/ went for proper driving).
Warm up lesson starts at 125pm, and i reached BBDC like 130pm?! Prepared and went everything one round before heading to the briefing room as usual (it was my 3rd try btw, so i feel kinda numb by it)
Testers came about, and names are called out 1 by 1.
My Tester - Mr. Mohid Bin Saini
The first thing he asked was "Hi are you, have you eaten?" and then "How do you feel today?", before we head down for my test car.
He chatted with me throughout and even advise on by saying "I chatted with you to ease your nervousness, if you're okay with it, please let me carry on. If not, if you fail again this time round, please DON'T blame me for distracting you" HOW AWESOME WAS THAT. So basically, i was chatting with him on the sun and the moon, and prolly the sands and the seas.
Everything was smooth, BUT my handbrake was giving me problem, i kept forgetting to release it all. >< What's worse, was twice SOMEMORE!!! (he tested me on my handbrake twice to give me second chance btw - testers normally don't give second chance on minor stuffs)
By 315pm, both circuit and outside on the road tests were done, and i got sent back to the briefing room once again, and this time round... waiting for the result.
The dreading moment came, and he's back with the slip and was trying to pronounce "不及格" properly (he's a malay btw). Was damn damn damn demoralized when he was explaining to me my mistakes and to do(s) and not to do(s), and he even told me "come again in a month time or something, you'll pass, you're nearly there", AND BAM!!! WHEN HE FLIP THE SLIP OVER, HE TURN THE PAPER TO ME POINTING ON "PASSED" ON THE SLIP!!!!
Burst out in tears, and he got a HUGE SHOCK, i mean like LITERALLY OPEN MOUTH SHOCKED.
"Fail also cry, pass also cry, don't know what you girls want"
He directed me to the graduation room before going off for next testee.
OMG BEST TESTER EVER, WHOEVER IN BBDC GOT HIM - YOU'RE CERTAINLY BLESSED!
Called my parents to inform them, and then to the man.
Thank you Mr. Mohid Bin Saini for the guidance along the test, thank you to all the BBDC's instructors who i've met throughout the 2 years plus of lessons.
Thank you to my parents for the constant encouragement, and thank you to the man for the boosting of morale.
I DARE TO SAY NOW - I'M FINALLY AND OFFICIALLY A CERTIFIED DRIVER (after 3 tries). -insert smirk face- Even though i know some of my friends got license at like 18,19yo? BUT STILL... I FINALLY GOT IT!!! IMMA HAPPYGIRL92
Can't wait to lay my hand on my dad's van right now, because it's the only manual vehicle available compared to my uncle's and friends' one.
Apart from this big news (at least for me), the rest of the days was normal - mundane and busy.
PILED UP WORK AND WORK AND WORK AND WORK. Both Flor's and Factorie's, even up till now which is already 9th July. ):
Life's hard in SG, my pay from both side combined can never cover my full expenses inclusive of transport, food and entertainment.
BO BIAN LAN LAN SUCK THUMB LOR
Till then....
