National Parks (NParks) - Hort Park

Before i start on the post today,

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO MY PAPA!!!!!!!!!!
May you always be so healthy, so bubbly and always stay so strong!!! LOVE U PAPA!
And also to my uncle, hope you'll have a great Happy Father's Day dinner with us later on, with companion of zhe zhe (really hope he can come over later on!).

Back few weeks ago, one of the Sundays (25th May), got really mad with the man and we went to have a small tiny "hiking" up to Hort Park, and another thing was that i never went to Henderson Waves before too.

Had our lunch at Seah Im Hawker Centre first, before planning to hop on to the Shuttle Bus and up to idk the southern ridges? But we found out from one of the bus driver, saying that THE SHUTTLE BUS IS NOT IN SERVICE!!!! So suck thumb and walk up all the way.

After reaching the top, felt like i just finish running 2.4km, 整个人瘦了一圈 like that.

On the top of the Mount Faber?

Even the ladies have sucha a view, rly rly rly pretty.

Continue our "hike" up, and we're sweating like mad dogs.

Okay, i rly dk why the kid wanna photobomb us w the batman.

Finally reach Henderson Waves, chilled awhile before continue.

I was, and I AM STILL fascinated over this super long metal bridge, on how it's constructed and stuffs... It was linked all the way from one end to another end.

After reaching Hort Park, found a cafe to sit down, and to cool down ofc, the amount of sweat we're giving out is really can't be explained.

I really cannot stand the face at the back, tried zooming in and i laugh-crying.

Stopped our trip at NUS, cos we got lost inside, and headed to Kent Ridge CC Line to take train down to Holland Village for our dinner.

After dinner, left for home, as we're both working the next day.

Will update again rly soon, on coach's office opening! hiak hiak
Till then...........

Ciel Patisserie

Was busy with the massive work load from both Factorie and Flor, don't even have a proper time to breathe.

Finally went back to Duxton Hill to work w Yean after 2 years of not returning to Duxton, and also months of not working w Yean.

Knocked off at 230pm on last last Saturday (24th May), went to Simlim Square with the man, because he wanna take a look at his TV box, took bus 51 back to Defu Lane, having the plan of taking 854 back home from there.
Impromptu suggestion from the man to bring me over to a cafe named Ciel Patisserie.

WAS OFC BOTH HAPPY AND EXCITED.

It's really near to Defu Lane, just prolly 10mins walk away? And it's at Hougang, ofc we will know our way out.

Look really cosy on the outside, and definitely it's REALLY cosy inside,  but the seatings are pretty limited. Went there at around 7pm? And it's already fully occupied (except the one outside).

Went through much of the reviews, and decided to try on the Fuji ($5.20), and Satine ($4.80).

Fuji, it's a Green Tea Mousse with Lychee Jelly, with soft green sponge base (stated in web).

 Satine, Vanilla Cheese Cake.

Many had recommended to try Fuji, but it turns out that both the man and I wasn't particularly take any liking of Fuji, but we really love Satine, which there's not much reviews on it.

Ordered additional Apple Almond Tart to try, and it's pretty nice, just that the apples was abit..... hard?

For drinks wise, the man ordered 'Sweet Dreams' Tea ($2.60) - have a flowery smell with bland tea taste, very very soothing, while i ordered Cappucino ($3.60), because there's no Mocha or Mochachino available.

The drinks are incredibly cheap imo, cos not all cafe's drinks are THIS cheap.

Summed up to $16.20 for everything excluding the tart. And what's best? IT'S NETT PRICE, NO GST, NO SERVICE CHARGE. Awesome or whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttt??!

Yay to another cafe ticked off the list - thank you to the man for bringing me over, although it's really a 顺便去那边看看 cafe hop, LOL.
