NYPLD's Annual Chalet

Back last Friday (16th May), went to work at Duxton with Jieren, and headed back home to wash up before meeting the man and cabbed down to Goldkist Resort @ East Coast Park for NYPLD's Annual Chalet.

Miss out the group photo and stuffs, cos we reached at like 1030pm??? When i reached there, most of the Y1s already left, i went in, they went out LOL. And also, most of the alumni didn't manage to join this year, like Cien, Liling, big jiahao and etc..... :/

Pretty amazed that NYPLD managed to make almost 15 freshies stayed this year. It's good cos we can finally trained on Dragon and also have sufficient people for performances/ out lion events, it's bad cos HUMANS are the MOST DIFFICULT to manage, and also we're prone to arguments and quarrels.
#justsaying #nocomplains

Tried on the monopod (selfie stick) with the mates.

And a proper photo with Mandy jie! :D

(below are my rants)
(i might offend some  people, BUT, NO OFFENCE for real, no harsh feelings)
(purely own rantings, if you're pissed over reading my opinions then it's your problem, not mine)

Chatted with the usual mates outside the chalet, cos all the "clubbers" were inside the room feeding themselves with 1 bottle of vodka ONLY, ofc mix with peach tea etc... and with lights off and blasting of songs.

Sorry people, 'm not stereotypical towards clubbers. I JUST don't see WHY a chalet MUST TURN INTO A "CLUB"??!!! Note, it's "club" with OPEN/CLOSE INVERTED COMMAS.

I thought chalet was to bond people? Eat BBQ foods, share stories/ experiences, play bonding games, SINCE WHEN CHALET BECOME A CLUBBING PLACE??!?!?!?
Again, i wanna emphasize on - NO OFFENCE to my mates who're involved, and also reading it.
BUT if you wanna have an annual gathering to become like this, we could jolly well have our annual gathering in Zouk or whatever clubs, AND NOT ECP'S GOLDKIST RESORT.

IT'S CALLED CHALET/RESORT FOR A REASON. And also, Zouk/ other clubs are called  NIGHTCLUBS FOR A REASON.

Getting tipsy, getting drunk, getting aggressive AFTER ONLY A BOTTLE OF ABSOLUT VODKA shared AMONG PPL. Note again, that i typed "AMONG", not "BETWEEN",
AMONG = use for more than 3 people. I don't think you could be THAT drunk?

You wanna drink - CAN, BUT don't drink and turn the whole room into LIKE a club?? Don't drink and then come out of the room and say other people walking style got problem, when there's NONE at all? And lastly, don't drink and ended up grabbing someone from the outside to inside of the room and go insane with you?
IDK just don't make a fool of yourself...?
I don't care if you REALLY ARE sober or what, once i think you're doing stupid things after the alcoholic influence, YOU'RE DOING STUPID THINGS - because I AM THE ONE WHO'RE REALLY SOBER with NO alcohol influence.
And what? Talk about which clubs you guys went, which bouncers you guys knew, AND FOR GOD'S SAKE, TALK ABOUT THE FIGHTINGS YOU'VE IN CLUBS??? Omg seriously.

I only wanna ask this - "How long do you wanna live your life LIKE THIS clubbing away, drinking away? Till 50? Till you're so old and you have no strength to pull your body to the dancefloor in clubs anymore?"

AGAIN, 'm NOT stereotypical to those who clubbed, i, myself went to club before, both Dream and Zouk. But not a "club" called GOLDKIST RESORT. So please again, respect the rest of your mates - treat a chalet AS A chalet, don't turn it into a "club", "dancefloor" AGAIN in future. Drinking is NOT prohibited in chalet, BUT really don't do stupid things as above mentioned.

A huge disappointment in this year's annual chalet, i couldn't even stayed on after the 3rd time the "clubbers" came out of the room and smoked  and make a huge din over us (those chatting outside) being "sibei buey steady".

"Sibei buey steady" ON WHAT? - on us chatting outside peacefully, and not "clubbing" with you guys inside??! SERIOUSLY BRO, SERIOUSLY????!!!

OH PLEASE I STILL HAVE A LIFE and NOT "CLUBBING" IN RESORT/CHALET. I bo kiam eng clubbing in resort/chalet please. If i wanna club, I will seriously make a suggestion for us going to Zouk/ whatever nightclubs to club instead.

And, I DON'T CARE how much you can drink, i DON'T CARE how many bouncers you knew in your "club", i ONLY CARE on how much i love my NYPLD mates, and how much i want to have a good recreational time with my mates when apparently i do not have much chance on the normal days anymore.

Ugh,

Cabbed back home, washed up and conked out.

Skipped work, and went to have my brunch with the man at Pek Kio Market, eating the famous Big Prawn Mee over there!

-----

This semester's exam results will be out in a week time on 29th May 2014.

Feelings: Mixed, nervous.

I really hate the feeling of getting a results soon, because you knew you did not do your papers well. I wouldn't wanna see any "NN" or "NNN" in my online results slip. ):
My only wish is to see all my results for the four modules are "PAP", "CRC", "DID", "HDD", and NOT "NN".
I had repeat 4 times for 3 modules already, i can't afford to waste any of my parents' $$ to repeat any other modules. I really hope god will answer my prayers, and help me this time round. *Amen*

Also, another round of test on the same exact day on 29th May 2014.

It's my 3rd try already, i really hope miracle will happen, and everything will be really smooth for me no matter inside the school or outside, and clear it smoothly.

Will update again,

Till then.

#7KLtrip

Was back from Kuala Lumpur for a week plus already, but was too busy to update this space.

Last week went for work from Mon-Wed, had stock taking throughout the outlet, before meeting the man at night on Wed for dinner before i went off for a 3D2N trip to KL.

Day 1 - 8th May 2014 //

Met the friends at Harbourfront MRT Station first before heading down to Subway at Harbourfront Centre for breakfast. Wilson was late, and he reached just before we went to Aeroline to "check in".

Got chased by the staffs cos we're 10mins late, and the whole bus are waiting for us. LOL.

My first trip to Malaysia w Aeroline Coach (i always took Five Stars Tours). IT'S FRIGGIN AWESOME. I didn't know they work in coaches like in airplanes - pillows, blankets, earphones, breakfast, hot beverages were provided. There's even washroom in the coach itself, and a lounge at the lower deck.

$88 ji worth it.

They were all sleeping, and i was watching both my R.I.P.D and World War Z, since i can't get to sleep.

Reach our Pit stop - Summer, and headed down to buy my Top-up card for the love's 3G Malaysia SIM card.
Came back, and set at a lower deck, while both Kenneth and Wilson still asleep upstair.

Both of the sleepyheads came down, and chatted our way to KL.

Reached @ around 130pm, and walked to Sunway Pyramid Hotel for checking in (supposedly 4pm checked in).

I think the rooms are huge ass biggie, and $80 for 2 nights, it's really worth it again!!

Washed up before meeting the guys again, and went to Tony Roma for our lunch.

The set meal's price is RM9.90/each, we ordered 7 sets outta 9 sets for the lunch special.
Topping up free flows drinks + soups. BAM!!! RM16 for per pax. WORTH IT OR WHAAAAAAAAAAAT. #wheretofindthistypeofpriceinsg

Walked around Sunway Pyramid to look for Angie's NB sneaks, and we chanced upon Laser Tag at a really secretive place.

RM20 for 10mins, was RELUCTANT initially, cos first - i never play before, and 10mins where got enough, but still gave in and went to play.

It's freaking dark inside, and i don't even know there's 2 levels till Seah yi's laser pointed at me. LOL.
This 10 mins is good enough to make you sweat and feel like you ran 2.4km, wtf. SIBEI GOOD EXPERIENCE. The one male + one female who lost in the laser tag are required to get Krispy Kreme for us in the early morning the second day, THANK YOU BM AND NAZ!!! xP

The staffs there was friendly enough to let us wear the armours and stuffs again, and help us take a group photo!

After which, walked around before heading out to opposite of Sunway Pyramid to buy our dinner from the roadside stalls.
Wanted to buy Lok Lok, BUT THE CHEESY HOTDOGS ARE GONEE T____T

So went to other side of the road side stalls, and ordered Chee Cheong Fun, Kan Pua Mee (干板面), Porridge, Stingray, Char Kway Teow (1 pkt w veggie, 1 without).

And all this below, happily make us freaking full AND it cost only SGD$4 per person. WHUUUUUUUT AGAIN!!????!?!?

This freaking Hershey's pies from Burger King IN KL IS FREAKING SGD$1.20 PER PIE.
IN SG, IT COST LIKE $3?????!!!! #spamnia

Ended our late dinner/ supper at 12+, and headed to the empty Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall for our Running Man game.

So eventually, the winner is Wilson, cos he manage to tear the tissue paper away from the Catcher's (BM) pocket.

Headed back, washed up and conked out on bed after which.

Day 2 - 9th May 2014 //

BM woke all of us up, and we girls crashed the guys' rooms, and woke them up to prepare and stuffs.

Wanted to go Subang, for the Cat Cafe, and took cab down.

After reaching, ordered my Hot Mocha, and went in to play with the kitties. And this kitty make me 一见钟情 with her.

I named her Garfield, cos she have this unique flat faced features! The amount of photos i spammed on her, IS ALOT COMPARE TO THE REST. But she's sooooooooooooooooo cute.

She looked so grumpy, and she only sat at one corner, BUT SHE'S OHSOQTPIE!!!

This kitty looked so well-pampered, the guys kept patting her and played with her.

This one look like one which can be easily find at our house's downstair, she kept hiding from us, and kept meowing at this particular door, wanting to go in. AND SHE DOESN'T LIKE ME TO PAT ON HER!!! WHYYYYY

I think it's a "She" too. She's fat and lazy, BUT SHE'S SO CUTE LIKE A BALLLLLLL.

Everything we've ordered!!

Was planning to go back to our hotel area for dinner, and we chanced upon Escape Dungeon when we're walking towards to the main road to get cabs.

Impromptu Escape Room game again! And it's only RM20 (showing of student passes, irregardless what country)

Chose the Haunted Chamber, AND BLOODY HELL IT'S SO CREEPY INSIDE. It's fun cos, you can dismantle EVERYTHING inside including the tables, racks, radio, dollhouse and whatever. Got stuck at the first rm for quite some times, before getting hints and move on to the second room.

The second room is dark and creepy, we only have like 2 torchlights. There's mannequins inside covered with blood and cloths. And there's a grandma inside sitting on a rocking chair, rocking all by herself. CREEPY NOT!!!??? If you guys were ever there, tried it, it creeps me out a lot to a extent i don't even dare to move forward, till the guys dismantle everything.

We did not escape successfully, but it's hell lotsa fun inside.

This room it's only 45mins, and went we headed out it's pouring really big outside. Angie wanted to buy her eyedrop at Watson's, but when we came out, Seahyi chanced upon ANOTHER escape room called Mission-Q.

It's even bigger and look really atas, it's RM25 for an hour game, it's similar to SG somehow, with only 1 hint. Choose The Missing Corpse for our game. Managed to escape outta the room, and thank you all for the cooperation. AND ignore Kenneth's board below, I DID HELP LO!!!!

Even after Mission-Q, the rain was still damn heavy outside, so have got no choice and get cab by the Starbucks area, waited for more than an hour to get the damn cab. Even to the extent of downloading the "MyTeksi" app (Malaysia's version of SG's GrabTaxi).

Headed back to hotel to changed and wash up, and took cab down to KLCC after which for our dinner. Reached at around 10+, and settled our dinner @ Madam Kwan's. IT'S FREAKING DISAPPOINTING AND EXPENSIVE UGH, the most not-worth dinner everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! DON'T EVEN TRY EATING THERE.

Walked around after the mall closes, and tried to take selfie with the twin towers, all the stupid things done, keeping of double chins and stuffs, but all the shots failed. LOL

#majorfailshots

After every pix taken, we walked damn fast away from the place cos it's so embarrassing. LOL
Headed for Zouk KL (virgin club experience for real) after which, and partied hard till 4am? Before taking cab back to our hotel. Gotta thank the guys alot for taking care of us when inside the clubs. :)
Day 3 - 10th May 2014//

Woke up really late with the rest, washed up and went for our Ice Skating!!
Virgin try (again), and it was disastrous. Fell once, MY ASS KISSED THE ICY GROUNDDDDDD. Thank you to all my friends for being a supportive pillars for me in the rink, and i nearly drag Wilson down and make his ass kiss the ground too when i just STEPPED INTO the rink. LOL

Had a small dispute with the staff at Sunway Pyramid Ice, cos we wanted to buy the films of our pix, and we all heard it's RM15, and it turns out to be RM50!!! Spend almost 30mins arguing, and we missed out our last Laser Tag game ): Rushed to buy Krispy Kreme and ran to Aeroline coach after which.

And that's the end of the #7KLtrip. (check out Instagram #7KLtrip, we've upload all our pix there, yayhoooo~)

Reached back SG at around 1130pm, and the man was already waiting to fetch me @ Harboufront's Mcd, to have supper and cabbed me home after that. :D

End my post w Garfield and me!!!

Till then bitchessssssss <3 br="">
