Late night thoughts....

I have been updating about the past events and not what happened recently, not even about myself, my life, or whatever it is.

Back on 29th May, i received my last semester result, things were ugly, very ugly.

2 modules, and i didn't managed to clear one. People around me had been asking, "omg then how?", "huh, why you didn't study?", "like that you can't graduate?".

YES. YES. YES.

I. CAN'T. GRADUATE. this year. BUT, i can graduate next year.

I guess, it doesn't matter anymore whether or not i could wear the mortar board with my peers, i gave up the thought of throwing the mortar board with my peers at the school's atrium.
I only knew that, i HAVE TO graduate next year, to prove to my parents i could get a certificate back with my abilities, and not disappoint them anymore.
They understood my situation, and they didn't blamed me for not clearing my module, even so... they encouraged me to do well next time, and told me that it's okay NOT to graduate this August.

Definitely, i'm glad to have them as my family.

//

I admit that i wasn't the best student throughout my entire education, but i don't see myself as the lousiest yet.
I scored 201 (surprisingly) back in my PSLE days, and managed to squeeze into Express Stream.
Flunked my entire Secondary school, to the extent, i NEARLY dropped to Normal Academic Stream when i finished my Sec 3's term, but still... i stayed on (thanks to my 2 form teachers) and was barely promoted to Secondary 4 Express, and i dropped my A.Maths during O Levels.

I was GAWD DAMN FUCKING proud that i scored 25 (L1R4) for my O Levels (i knew nuts why i cried so badly, i should be happy), when i scored 40+, almost 50 for my Prelims.

Managed to get into a Engineering+IT course in NYP, when i'm planning to get into Bishan ITE or Simei ITE back then.

But never once i regretted my choice...... You see, I ended up in University anyways....

Life isn't that bad either... right?

/

I've heard A LOT of people saying, AND I MEANT TONNES OF PEOPLE, be it (not close)friends and those 三八婆 or whatever.....

They said: Private university USED money to buy certificate, as long as you've the money, YOU CAN GRADUATE with a degree certificate.

And, i had hear this from my friend's mouth back when we're all Year 1 students in SIM (for my case i'm Year 2, cos RMIT exempt all poly students), who's studying in UOL @ SIM, this is definitely not a hearsay.

He said: My lecturer say RMIT students won't do well in the future, UOL students can. You guys did a right choice to enter UOL and not RMIT.

I don't know where this lecturer get the logic from, and i don't think he's fit to even be a LECTURER for goodness sake. People can compare RMIT and UOL, but as a lecturer, i don't think you've the right to do so? no?

What's more, my friend told me this before, and it will clearly inked in my mind for a fucking long time,
"My friends and i studied Accounting or Banking&Finance, and in UOL some more, we definitely could earn more than you, who is just studying Business Management from RMIT"

Again, i don't see why those who study in RMIT have no bright future. My girlfriends (3 of them) study in UOL right now, while the other 2 in local university, but they never once despised me for being in RMIT, so why should YOU/THE LECTURER have the right to say so?

And also, my friends who've graduated from RMIT, are doing good now in their jobs, i don't see why (again) that we've no bright future? Seriously, sometimes people need to STOP living in their own teeny weeny pathetic world like "JC students are forever better than poly/ite students", "ITE = It's the End".

For goodness sake guys....... IF YOU GONNA ENTER SIM/ANY PRIVATE UNIVERSITY, BRACE YOURSELF.....

It's not what everyone who said like, as long as you got money, you can get the certificate. OMG FALSE FALSE FALSE!!!!

(IN MY CASE) I AM doubly hardworking compared to my entire education life, i studied like 3weeks-1month before my paper, when what i did in poly was study 3-4 days in advance. SEE THE GAWD DAMN DIFFERENCE??????

IMO, Private university = fucks you up like how local university did.
Their only difference?

Private university DO NOT HAVE A COLLEGE LIFE, while local university did?
We just go school for 3 hours of lesson and leave school after which, nothing more. That's it.

So yeah.......... don't you ever think that being a private uni student can be a breeze uh.

//

I've learned that, being educated GIVES YOU the pay, but having a skill BRINGS YOU FAR.

I'm happy to know my true self NOW, like on how people sees me....... in the society.

I was known to be bubbly, happy, jumpy in the eyes of my employer and i am capable to take up a role which i have never thought i would go.

It's a pity i couldn't accept the job now, because i don't have a degree certificate.
But still.... my supposed-to-be team leader was more than happy to want me join her even though i don't have a certificate, and she actually looked forward to have me on board.
But however, she told me not to accept the job after hearing that i'm going to take an EXTREME pay cut to a diploma certificate student. THAT'S WHY I SAID, with certificate, it GIVES YOU the pay. But having a skill, BRINGS YOU FAR.

Also, going for an interview for less than 10 MINUTES, doesn't mean you're not suitable for the job, or had flunked the interview.
It could meant that... they would call you up 1 month later to offer you the position or they just simply too lazy to have a long interview because there's a lot of candidates outside.

Life, thank you for the precious lesson, maybe i'm not ready to take up the role/job yet, but i will come back stronger next year, and be a much better candidate/ employee.

And i  hope, things would turn out better next time, and i will no longer be jobless after my hong kong trip tomorrow!! Hiak hiak.

P.S: I know the entire post is kinda irrelevant and no-link in some way.... i just wanna typed whatever that came in my mind.

Session #2, colouring of the 3 roses and yellow ink on the leaves on my shoulder.

Last session, full colouring without the shadow.

Supposed to have some background shadow on the final piece, but decided not to, because....
1) Dwayne was afraid it will be OVER colourful, machiam rainbow
2) Dwayne GUARANTEE i will go back to him in 1-2years time to extend my current one to full half back
3) I'm not confident enough that i will stop here, and i MIGHT just extend anytime in future... perhaps.

That's why!!!

Coffee Man Roaster x The Lab Sg

Coffee Man Roaster with Ji back in early April.

It was an impromptu trip to explore the area over there, and we just happen to chanced upon Coffee Man Roasters, and i knew it's kinda famous for something........ But i just don't bother to google it out.

But the croissants was good, but the churros was like..... mehz.
The ambience is nice as well, but the table for two, kinda cramp eh.

Apparently, i have a habit to check-in Swarm (by FourSquare), and it just happened that, people recommend the Flat White from there, BUT HELLZ NO. Doesn't suit my taste for such coffee..... :/

OH DAMN FREAKING GOOD CROISSANT. YUMZ

Next, headed to the newly hyped up cafe @ Haji Lane w the girls (Aisyah and Sheena) during Mid April, before the commencement of our last semester's exams.

The Lab Sg.

It's halal certified cafe, and the burger served there was good. But actually, it doesn't caught my attention much tho. But yeah, they served good burgers there.
And their menus, "glasses" they used, are similar to those in Laboratory back in my secondary school days, like conducting some science experiment tho.

Both Aisyah and Sheena tried Heisenberger, while i just get a Beef Burger for myself.

 Seeeee! Beaker and Syringe!

 MAH BEEF BURGERRRRRRR

Actually, their sweet potatoes fries are quite hyped up, BUT IT DOESN'T SUIT MY TASTE EH.
I still prefer normal Mcd/ Long John Silver fries, LOL

JB: District X

Back 2 months ago, on the 3rd April, it was a Good Friday, so had a date with the uni mates once again to JB.

The amount of people at the custom was crazily packed, and 3 of us got seperated with the rest, because you really need to have the skills to squeeze through tonnes of humans, and get onto the bus to custom.

But nvm, i have the company of this cute couple. Hehe.

Finally reached custom, went to buy the ciggs/ DiGi topup cards and etc before moving on to Jusco.

Splitted into 3 cabs, 3 by 3, I went off w Sy and Naz first. Wil and Shawn went back to change his SIM card or etc, Bm and ken was forced to be seperated. T___T

Stonegrill for lunch at Jusco, before heading off to look for District X.

For those who had played Escape Room games in Singapore, District X is a MUST-GO!!!!
It's not the normal Escape Room game, but it's an escape room game with real "ghosts" chasing after you.

District X JB
Address: Jalan Harmonium 24/2

Split into 2 groups, because a group of 9 pax is too much. The 2 couples went ahead first, before the rest of us.

Spent the 1 hour playing Big2 with the owner of District X, having forfeits and etc as well, while waiting for the couples to come out.
Tried to scare the couples at their ending, but failed so badly.... Cos Ken was the first one to walk out.

It was our turn to go in, AND OMG IT LITERALLY SCARE THE SHIT OUTTA ME.
But guys, please don't judge.................

My level of humjiness is beyond normal person, did i mentioned i cried at the end of the game. Cos it's too fucking scary, and the owner was like having fun scaring the hell outta me. BUT STILL.... BEST ESCAPE ROOM GAME.

Since it was pouring when we finished our games, the owner let us try out his new game FOC, it's a 谁是杀手? (who's the murderer?), but kinda failed badly.... cos we don't understand the game rules, and the murderers don't even know they are the murderers themselves (aka: Ken, Shawn and Me).

Forfeits done in the end for the rest except for the ultimate winner, Shawn.

Headed off..... to KSL for our lok lok dinner, and poor Nazrul hafta accomodate us by packing food for himself from Carabao, and eat his food @ lok lok side with us. Poor thang abang.

After dinner, split cabs again back to JB Sentral.

A good and fun day with the uni mates again.

To more JB/ overseas/ staycation trips again da jia!!! :D

//

Supposed to be asleep now, and be heading to Dwayne's side @ 1pm later on, for the 3rd and hopefully last session, but my eye infection is getting worse, and there's wound now by my eye bag area, doubt i'm suitable to go out either. Sigh.

Hopefully i'm able to postpone my 3rd session to next monday instead.

That's all for now...........................

Till then,
