17th Ngee Ann City Lion Dance Competition

HOLAAAA! 'm back after a hectic last week full of competitions (as stated in the title! ^^).
it's from 5th - 10th Sept for those who dont know anything and for those who don't even bother about it... but oh well... it's my first time entering sucha BIGGIE competition. :D
5th - 7th is high poles semi finals, 8th is traditional finals, and lastly 9th - 10th is high poles finals + award ceremony... :D

also, stated in the previous post, 've went for the 2nd day of semi finals of high poles, cos the champion for last year was competing that day. pretty obvious will go kpo and watch it.

and on th 8th, which is the traditional competition (the one 'm participating in), supposedly i shld reach lor 35 @ 1230pm, and i woke up @ 12nn, leaving house @ 1pm with papa fetching me! <3
after i reach, and settle down tgt w those kids, i got nag by ah bao saying "what time liao, now then come, very standard leh u, always late one..."
changed and waited for th props up t th lorry and leave lor 35 t Takashimaya.
Marcus fetch Zhou long, jiazheng and me down t taka, while th rest took th props lorry down or on coach's car.
was raining heavily in geylang, so some of them alrdy drench when they alight and cover th props under th rain...

reach Takashimaya, and all of them (all guys) went over t help carry th props UNDER th rain... being th only girl, i was happily UNDER the SHELTER taking care of their belongings. wahahahahaha. good thing about being a girl in a troupe! ^^

went over outside Ngee Ann City and nua, and baby reach there @ 2plus t accompany me throughout. did nothing and chatted while they do their props. faye and guanwei reach around 5plus t help out as well.
around 6plus, went over t pray w th rest of them before th commence of the competition.
I TELL U, I WAS TOTALLY FREAKING OUT AND WORRYING THIS & THAT. thanks t baby AGAIN for comforting me. ^^

i help Cheng San CC in this competition. so i was kinda in luck t get Top 3 (spoiler alert!!!).

yeah, thanks to myself, 'm not nervous once 'm inside th competition ground. WHY? cos i always been like that. for NTU competition and etc etc. but anyw, nice photos taken right... all credited t respective photographers, and linked!

left straightaway after my competition on Thursday, cos baby and me haven't get t eat our dinner yet.

so on Friday and Saturday, th finals of the High Poles, parents fetch baby and me over t FEP and we chiong all th way t Ngee Ann City t catch th competition in time + baby's friend is waiting for him as well.
and another motive for going over there is t collect my IC back from Jiji which i forget t get back on Thursday. -___- got nagged by my mama badly. LOL.
Team Weiyang got pretty high score, and they ranked 4th for th high poles for overall! :D

Saturday, no choice but t NOT go Giant w my parents and Eunice's chalet, cos Jiji texted me saying they're not enough ppl t collect our cookie (aka medal), and he insist on me going, COS IT WILL BE MY FIRST COOKIE EVER in Lion Dance. LOL.
but fyi, i got a cookie BEFORE in the inter-school lion dance competition held by NTU.

went t Level 6 carpark and find th rest t get all th chushi attire and stuffs t change, funny thing is NOBODY bring yao dai, so no chioce they cut those yao dai into half.. t be shared among like 15-16 of us. LOLLLL!!!
okay... 'm proud that i saw wj ppl in their desperate moment okay. IT'S FREAKING FUNNY.
sad thing is baby is not there t witness this. hahahahahaha! xD

but that definitely cannot be compared w 17th Ngee Ann City Lion Dance competition though, cos Ngee Ann Comp is way too grand. hahahahaahahah!
but oh well... eventually i went for th award ceremony and got my FIRST cookie said by Jiji. was really awkward when getting it, because...
1) it's my first time not w NYPLD ppl
2) 'm th only girl in both Team Chengsan and Team Weijin
3) got my 1st cookie when it's not entirely my effort, when Chengsan hv alrdy a name in this competition (last yr got champs!)

waited fr photo taking, which i wanted t see so much... cos during th photo taking, 'm th only one not wearing medal. -___- i afraid that it is god damn odd. ):
chiong t change out and trained back home w babyluv, cos it's alrdy past 12mn, and 'm afraid we hafta cabbed back home. ): nobody knows how broke baby and i am right now..... *insert x10000000 sad faces*
