Annual gathering + Butterscotch Cafe

I remembered i was doing closing on 31st Dec itself w one of my Manager-in-Training (MIT), Meiling. It's pretty sad to work your ass off on the last day of 2013, BUT the good thing was that to avoid all the crowds in trains and walkways @ Orchard, DESPITE working at Orchard.

The trains were almost empty, cos all the people are out on Orchard Road celebrating and waiting for count down for 2014, and i hop on to the North-West bound train with Meiling, and change @ Dhoby Ghaut for North-East Line after that.

Reached back at Hougang prolly aroun 1155pm? And manage to only find my clique on 1st Jan 2014 (sounds like 'm gone for a year just to find them, lol), at around 0010.

Girls talk at a side and back to the BBQ pit for more foods, chatted and managed to hop onto the same cab with Yy, Justin, Jiale.

May this annual thing goes on for more years to come.

The rest of the days was like dating with the man, and working my ass off at Factorie.

Finally a day off from work, and met up with my Uni girls for a cafe outing on the first friday (3rd Jan) of the year!

Decided on Butterscotch Cafe at Bukit Merah Central area.

Credit to thealternativefoodblog.
Took 147 from Hougang Ave 8, and the bus trip took me 1.5hours to reach, but i am glad to say I WASN'T TOO LATE, as the rest of the girls just reach the Cafe prolly 5mins before me only.

This is like Hot chocolate with cookies, it's awesome. And i drank the hot one, while the rest drank the Iced one.

I really forgot what i had ordered, but it's like sth Ramly Burger sth. Lol.

Look at the plate!! SO OLD SCH OMG

Was too full from our brunch, but we insist on trying the Butterscotch Souffle still! It's the recommended one, SO DIE DIE MUST TRY EVEN IF WE'RE TOO FULL.

That's the chocolate sauce with the Butterscotch Souffles and Butterscotch Icecream.

No offence, but the icecream tasted like rusted metal. IT'S DAMN GROSS WTF
Whereas the Souffle is dope stuff, but kinda sweet. So those who're NOT sweet-toothed, refrain from trying it.

For those who're interested, it's a HALAL CERTIFIED cafe, as the owners are Muslims, so you can STILL bring your Muslim friends to check this cafe out.

It's not those out-of-the-world kinda cafe, but still worth the try.

Went down to town to walk around, and the last stop was at Cineleisure's Alcoholiday, to check out price for some shirt, and to see if Seahyi was working or not.

Met up with the man after which, and i can't recall where we've went.

Up till here today, will update again.

Till then.....
